Change to May Day Public Holiday 2020

The May Day public holiday in 2020 will change from Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May to coincide with the VE Day 75th anniversary commemorations.  This decision follows both national and Scottish Government to change the date of the Bank holiday to Friday 8th May 2020.

Staffing 2019-2020

The long awaited staffing and class list!

Firstly apologies for the lateness of getting this information out but unfortunately we have just been informed of our final staffing for next session which includes 2 probationers one of which we still have no name for. Hopefully we will be informed of their name this week.

Nursery –Jo, Tracy and Katie are being joined by Susan Bryan who is covering Lisa’s maternity leave.

P1- Ms E Thomson /Mrs P Richard (19)

P2- Probationer (4 days)/Ms H MacLean (1day) (20)

P3-Mr C. Rodger (25)

P4- Mrs L. Macdonald (4 days) /Mrs M Dransfield (1 day) (24)

P5-Miss M. Meikle Probationer (4 days) /Ms H MacLean (1 day) (20)

P6 -Mrs A Munro (33)

P7- Mrs L Fyfe (28)

As you will see we have had a few staff changes.

Mrs Millar has been appointed as acting DHT at Tarradale Primary school to cover a maternity leave until Easter and is being replaced by a probationer and Ms Stewart is being replaced by Miss Meikle also a probationer. Ms H. Maclean will be joining us to deliver CCR cover and probationer cover.

Our current Primary 5, as many of you will know, stands at 35 however two pupils are moving on and that then leaves us with 33 which is the maximum that we can have in one class. We have decided to run with a class of 33 moving into P6 but we need to stress that if anyone arrives and requires a P6 place we will have to composite the class whether this be at the beginning of the session or in fact at any time throughout the session.
